Welcome to GlobalPhrase Translation (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using our website or engaging our translation, interpretation, localization, or related linguistic services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. Scope of Services
GlobalPhrase offers professional language solutions, including but not limited to translation, interpretation, localization, transcription, and subtitling. Services are delivered based on the specifications provided by the client at the time of the order.
2. Quotation and Orders
- All quotes are valid for 7 calendar days from the date of issue, unless otherwise stated.
- Work begins only upon formal confirmation from the client via written acceptance or payment (partial or full).
- Any changes to the original order may result in revised fees and delivery timelines.
3. Delivery Timeline
- Delivery deadlines are provided in good faith based on our best estimates at the time of confirmation.
- We are not liable for delays caused by unforeseen events, force majeure, technical failures, or delays from the client in providing necessary information.
- Urgent deliveries may incur additional fees.
4. Client Responsibilities
- The client agrees to provide complete, accurate, and legible source material.
- The client must inform us of the intended use of the translation (e.g., publication, legal use, internal review).
- If specialized terminology is required, the client must provide glossaries or references.
5. Confidentiality
- All materials and communications shared with GlobalPhrase are treated as strictly confidential.
- We implement security measures and NDAs with our translators to safeguard your data.
- We will not disclose client information to third parties unless required by law or authorized by the client.
6. Fees and Payment Terms
- Prices are provided per word, per page, per hour, or per project, depending on the nature of the work.
- Payment must be made in accordance with the terms stated on the invoice.
- Late payments may incur interest or administrative fees.
7. Cancellation Policy
- Orders cancelled by the client after confirmation will be charged based on the amount of work completed.
- Refunds are not guaranteed once work has begun unless otherwise agreed in writing.
8. Revisions and Complaints
- Clients have 5 business days from delivery to request revisions or report any issues.
- We will review and revise the work free of charge if the complaint is found to be valid and within scope.
- Style preferences or subjective feedback do not qualify as errors.
9. Intellectual Property
- All rights to the translated materials transfer to the client upon full payment.
- Until full payment is received, the Company retains all intellectual property rights to the translated content.
10. Limitation of Liability
- While we strive for excellence, GlobalPhrase is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from use of our services.
- Our liability for any claim, including negligence, is strictly limited to the amount paid for the service in question.
11. Force Majeure
GlobalPhrase shall not be held liable for failure or delay in performance due to causes beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, wars, strikes, internet outages, or governmental actions.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
- These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of The Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, without regard to conflict of law principles.
- Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms, the services provided, or the interpretation thereof shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the Court of First Instance of Amman (Palace of Justice) which shall be the competent authority to resolve such disputes.
13. Modifications
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes become effective upon publication on our website. Continued use of our services constitutes your agreement to the revised terms.
